Welcome to SHELL3D (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Orders & Custom Work

  • Custom orders may require approval of a preview, measurements, and/or final details before printing begins.
     
  • You are responsible for confirming dimensions, spelling, colors, and design details before we start production.
     

Pricing & Quotes

  • Quotes are based on estimated print time, material use, and design complexity.
     
  • Final price may change if you request changes after the quote, if the file has hidden issues, or if extra material/time is needed.
     

Payment

  • Payment (or a deposit for larger custom orders) may be required before printing starts.
     
  • Unpaid orders may be canceled.
     

Production & Timelines

  • We provide estimated timelines, but production times can vary due to printer availability, material supply, or print failures requiring reprints.
     
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or incorrect customer-provided information.
     

3D Printing Disclaimer

  • 3D printed items may show layer lines, minor surface marks, or slight color variation—this is normal.
     
  • Strength and durability depend on design, material, and use. Items are not guaranteed for heavy loads, medical use, or safety-critical applications unless explicitly stated.
     

Customer Content & Intellectual Property

  • If you submit a file, logo, or character, you confirm you have the legal rights to use it.
     
  • We may refuse orders that appear to violate copyright, trademarks, or other rights.
     

Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled before printing starts for a full refund.
     
  • Once printing has started, cancellations may not be possible (see Return & Refund Policy).
     

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services for unlawful purposes, harassment, hateful content, or to request prohibited items.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SHELL3D is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability related to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order.

Return and Refund Policy

 

Because many of our items are made-to-order and/or customized, returns are limited.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery/pickup.
     
  • Include your order number and clear photos.
     
  • We will offer a free reprint or a refund, depending on the issue.
     

Defects / Printing Errors

If there is a major defect caused by us (ex: missing parts, severe warping, incorrect color that you did not approve):

  • Contact us within 48 hours with photos.
     
  • We will repair/replace, reprint, or refund as appropriate.
     

Custom Orders (No “Change of Mind” Returns)

  • Custom and personalized items are not returnable once printing has started.
     
  • If you cancel before printing starts, you will receive a full refund.
     
  • If design work has already begun, we may keep a reasonable design fee depending on the work completed.
     

Non-Custom Items (If Applicable)

If we sell non-custom, ready-made items:

  • Returns may be accepted within 7 days if unused and in original condition.
     
  • Customer may be responsible for return shipping/pickup costs.
     

Refund Method

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method (or another agreed method) after we confirm the issue.
